FAQ

Short answers for the questions schools ask most often while building a Catalog v3 file.

How should I edit the file in Excel or Google Sheets?

Download the blank or sample Catalog v3 CSV, open it in your spreadsheet tool, keep the header row exactly as provided, and Save / Download as CSV (UTF-8) when finished. Do not rename columns or add trailing punctuation to headers.

Why do conditions use semicolons?

The conditions cell holds many key=value pairs in one field. Separate pairs with semicolons (key=value;key=value). Commas inside a value are reserved for lists such as country codes.

Can I still upload an older Eduable catalog CSV?

Older Eduable catalog CSVs may still import. For any new file you create or share, use Catalog v3 so age bands and centre rows match what Hub expects today.

How do I price something for every centre?

Set location_id to ALL and location_name to All Centres on that row. Centre-specific prices use a concrete location_id instead.

Where do I upload the finished CSV?

In the Educator Demand & Pricing Hub Overview, use Upload completed CSV (first run) or Import CSV (after a catalog already exists). Review the import preview, fix any blocking cells, then apply.
